Yesterday the case Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic is being heard before the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.
This case all started with the state of South Carolina — they found that Planned Parenthood is not qualified to have taxpayer funding. After taking away Planned Parenthood’s Medicaid funding, a federal district court required the state of South Carolina to restore Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood because of Medicaid’s “free-choice of provider provision.”
Planned Parenthood is the biggest abortion chain in America — they destroy approximately 400,000 preborn people every single year. Additionally, undercover investigations from Live Action and other organizations have found that Planned Parenthood has a documented history of covering up child sexual abuse, human trafficking of their patients, and medical malpractice (even killing a number of women who underwent abortion procedures).
Planned Parenthood is bad news for women and preborn babies alike, and because they fail to provide quality care and kill human beings, taxpayers should never fund their operations.
May the Supreme Court rule to defund Planned Parenthood, and in so doing, protect vulnerable women and children in our nation who deserve better than the negligence of Planned Parenthood.

I gathered this morning with pro-life advocates in Livonia, MI to advocate for an end to federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
